Fact

Hardware-verified security uses protected hardware-backed operations. Keyra company declaration places current implementations on SIM, eSIM and iSIM.

What may be verified

Depending on deployment, verifiers may check possession of a protected key, hardware binding, software/app state, user presence or transaction-bound approval. These are not interchangeable.

What is not automatic

A verified mobile number alone does not prove legal identity or authorize a financial transaction. Network connectivity alone does not authenticate a V2X message. Independent certification is separate from company declarations.

What exactly is being verified: hardware, key possession, software state, user action or transaction authority?

These are different properties. Hardware-verified security may evidence possession of a protected key or a hardware-bound operation. Separately, systems may check software state, user presence or transaction-bound authority. Keyra answers must name the property actually established. A generic SIM presence check does not automatically prove legal identity or payment authorization.

A successful hardware verification establishes the documented hardware-backed property—commonly possession of a protected key or completion of a hardware-bound operation under deployment rules. Legal identity proofing, AML checks, payment authorization, agent scope and regulatory approvals remain separate controls unless a specific program explicitly combines them.

Where are my cryptographic keys generated and stored?

Keys used for hardware-verified security are intended to be generated and protected in hardware-backed environments associated with the active form factor—card historically; SIM, eSIM or iSIM currently per company declaration. Exact generation location, custody model and export policy per deployment remain editorial tasks until engineering publishes confirmed details. This answer does not invent algorithms or key sizes.
