What problems is Keyra designed to solve?
Last reviewed 5 Sept 2026 · Review due 5 Mar 2027
Short answer
Keyra addresses weak software-only authentication and fraud-prone approval of sensitive actions by anchoring verification in hardware-backed mobile security. Public materials highlight identity verification, sensitive-request approval, network verification themes and privacy-conscious consent. The Ciright Cyber One lineage historically targeted passwordless MFA for workforce and developer scenarios.
How it works
Instead of relying solely on shared secrets such as SMS OTP, Keyra messaging combines hardware-related SIM/eSIM signals with cryptographic checks so relying parties can raise confidence in who is approving a request—subject to deployment eligibility.
Limitations & conditions
- Does not claim to eliminate all fraud.
- Does not replace legal identity proofing unless a specific program provides it.
- Carrier and device eligibility apply.
